A woman stood in the middle in the picture with her back towards the audience, dragged the hand behind her, went to many countries, and took every beautiful scenery. This kind of concept went viral on social media, benefited the women and her husband who was a photography with many opportunities to work and travel around the world.

Murad Osmann was a Russian photography who shot the series of pictures “Follow Me To,” and Nataly Zakharova who was Osmann’s wife was the protagonist of the series. Last year (In 2015), They were invited by PANDORA Taiwan to come to Taiwan and shoot the “Follow Me To” series with Nataly wearing PANDORA’s accessories. These pictures were exhibited in the photography exhibition “A Journey of Love” in the 1st floor of Eslite Xin Yi Store on Apr. 14th, 2016. (The time of the exhibition was during Apr. 14th to 29th, 2016.) This lovely couple were invited to Taiwan again, and they arrived on Apr. 14th.

The origin of “Follow Me To” was the picture which they took in Barcelona. Nataly could not stand for Murad keeping shooting the scenery, so she impatiently dragged him to move on. This unintentional act became the main concept of the series of pictures.

There was a huge difference between the first picture of the series and the recent pictures. The first picture was taken at will. Nataly’s body language expressed her strength to drag Murad and her impatience to wait. As for the recent pictures, it showed their efforts in taking the pictures. Becoming more famous, they could not help but to meet some expectations from their fans and the public, so they had to take every detail seriously, like angles, lighting, and costumes. Nataly once said that she began to spend time on preparing the costumes based on the cultures of countries. Despite the fact that it was heavy to carry the clothes, she felt happy about it.

Before the “Follow Me To” series, the subjects of Murad’s pictures were mostly buildings and scenery. He had a small series of pictures which were taken from the top of buildings. Although there were only five of them, I really like the angle and concept of the pictures. Different from the normal tall buildings we saw, the buildings were like melting together in a circle.

After the “Follow Me To” series became extremely popular, it reminded of me an article written by a blogger, and she mentioned in the article that finding and keeping one’s style when running the social websites or blogs was an important element to be successful, particularly on Instagram. Instagram was full of pictures. It would attract lots of followers when the pictures put together showed the same concept or style. I think this would be why the “Follow Me To” series had been popular.

Of course beauty would be one of the contribution for the success of the series, especially when the beauty released some attractive mysterious feelings. I think there must be few people who did not appreciate that hahaha. Apart from the beauty, astonishing scenery would be the most important element. Just like a fan’s comment, “I just felt like traveling the world,” the pictures could fill the void and yearning of unable to going abroad.

Lastly, let’s follow them to Taiwan!
